Auld Lang Syne, for Love and Friendship

one-afternoon-at-makassar

Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And never brocht to mind?
Should auld acquaintance be forgot
And days of auld lang syne?

For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We’ll tak’ a cup o’ kindness yet
For auld lang syne

We twa ha’e run aboot the braes,
And pu’d the gowans fine;
But we’ve wandered mony a weary foot
Sin’ auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We’ll tak’ a cup o’ kindness yet
For auld lang syne

We twa ha’e paidled i’ the burn
Frae mornin’ sun till dine;
But seas between us braid ha’e roared
Sin’ auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We’ll tak’ a cup o’ kindness yet
For auld lang syne

And here’s a hand, my trusty frien’,
And gie’s a hand o’ thine;
We’ll tak’ a cup o’ kindness yet
For auld lang syne.

For auld lang syne, my dear
For auld lang syne
We’ll tak’ a cup o’ kindness yet
For auld lang syne

I will say good bye to 2008 immediately, and say welcome to 2009. The Pandora was opened, and only hope that left. Hope for a better life in future. To live this life faithfully. Auld lang syne, thank you for love, friendship, and a good time with all of you.

Thomas Alfa Edison ever said, “Of the 200 light bulbs that did not work, every failure told me something that I was able to incorporate into the next attempt.” It means those who don’t make mistakes unlikely to make anything. Whatever failure that we probably had in 2008, let us see and face 2009 as the year of new hope for all of us. We’ll take another cup of kindness.

Happy New Year!
