   Yes, laissez-faire is the extreme point of capitalism or market system, where governments are not involved whatsoever in the business or economic activities. This is another kind of jungle where the strongs devour the weaker ones. And eventually this kind of economic system will lead to economic anarchy.

   However some theorists believe that this pure laissez-faire system had never been recorded in human’s history.

   But it doesn’t mean that laissez-fare gives capitalism a complete bad name, we still believe in capitalism in so many cases. A combination of free-market economy and centralised economy will give an optimum result. But the best balance between those two is not always identical for each country.

   Yoga:
   Yup, I agree…combination of free-market economy and centralised economy will give an optimum result….etc.

   ….to some extent…..victims of laissez faire means the failure of the market’s ‘invisible hand’ that in fact it would not always lead to the realization of the common good……
