Ziiighh!!! Wake Up!

I had unplanned lunch with director this afternoon. Director? ;) Yeah, but it isn’t really special. It’s because of her kindness. She did several times with others too. I won’t tell about the menus to you–which was absolutely delicious or the place that’s so nice. I want to tell you that I just realized that my work motivation is starting to decrease even I feel that I work and learn so hard lately. The disciplines turned into routines. The worst thing is : It’s so hard to wake up in the morning now (am I too tired? I don’t think so). I work but just .. work, kind a robot. I’m in the state of stagnant–not developing, growing or changing. I don’t have motivation either intrinsic or extrinsic. For me, it isn’t good.

After talked with her, I got new motivation, a new challenge to improve my performance. Just like waking up from a very long sleeping. Gosh, hopefully it was not so bad. Hopefully I could repair every single details that I missed while I got de-motivation (still thinking, is it a right word?) unconsciously. I am so grateful today. I don’t know, what will happen to me if I know it in future? It’s such silent enemy and it could become tsunami if I am not aware. So? prepare an action for improving. What is it? recognize my needs and my self first then set the goals, but it’s clear that I will stay foolish and hunger and again… work hard, play hard, pray hard. “Workgito” Ergo Sum ummm… Labora Ergo Sum. :D

Then what?

Hi.. I remember once a colleague sent an article about execution summary. I replied his email and said: “Thank you Sir, It’s so kind of you. I really need an article about executive summary now. It will help me much.” Yeah, I need to improve my ability to write an excellent executive summary at that time, hehehe shame on me, then I need to sent short message just to clarify it. :D Well, I took a lesson from the execution summary, After I have a good plan for improving my self then I have to execute it. It means, I have to understand three key points on my mind:

  1. Execution is discipline and integral to strategy.
  2. Execution is the major job of business leader — which is my business is managing my self.
  3. Execution must be a core element of an organization’s culture — which is my personal behaves.

Then what?  Controlling and monitoring the process to reach the goals absolutely. I must remember, I will stay hunger and foolish.
