Writing and Learn English are..

Some years ago I read this;- “tied the knowledge with your pen”. It inspired me to learn how to write. I want to write and share information with the people. I didn’t decide yet what kind of writing that I will produce. Fiction or non-fiction, I don’t know. I just want to produce an informative writing. I decided to learn by my self since then. I bought some books about the art of writing, writing techniques, and seeked the article about writing in Internet. I also read Nadine Gordimer’s “Writing and Being” in Bahasa – which is the translation is confusing me sometimes, to fullfil my curiosty. I am seeking the best format for my writing until now. Recently I feel that I am not really interest to write a fiction. Perhaps report format is suitable for me, since I am not a kind of people who has very imaginative thought.

The other things, I need to improve my English, both oral and written. Boosting this ability I have no other way except practice, and read more. Combining writing and English learning becomes my program now. This blog is a media to encourage my self. It’s been 2,5 months, practicing writing in English in this blog. It’s hard for me. Some of the expectation was not achieved yet. I am not really sure that my English has improved or not. I could not provide objective information based on research yet, as I always wish. Mostly my article is very subjective, the resources come from my experiences, my feelings, or my internal circumstances. Even it’s subjective, I wish everyone could take the advantage of it.

I realize I need more practice. It’s the only way. Sometimes it made me little bit frustation. I am like walking inside a dark tunnel right now with a limit illumination. This is not comfort, but the light that I see at the end of this tunnel always raise up my spirit to move on. I really hope someday finally I can reach that light.

Note: I am learning to write in Bahasa also. I use blog as practice media as usual. I have two blogs in Bahasa. The first one is death since two years ago after the first posting, and I keep another one as my personal blog right now. Someday I’d like to share if I am ready.
