Hejo is Kidnapped?
I “nurtured” two Brazilian turtles since they are babies (the dimension is about 5cm). They are very lovely. I named them Hejo and Kejo. When they are still small — if nobody available to look after them while I travel, they will follow me. So far they passed some airport successfully. I can say that their experience is top level–for turtles. They ever been 6 months in Kalabahi a small town in Alor with my sister while she had an assignment there and beg me to bring them to acompany her, a day in Denpasar, couple days in Kupang, then they go to Surabaya for months, before come back to Jakarta. What a lucky turtles!
Hejo and Kejo adapted well with the environment. I feed them with fish food/pallet. The reason is because it’s easier to get and very simple. Hejo grows well, last time its diameter is about 20cm, Kejo is smaller, it is half of Hejo. Since they are already big enough I can not take them for a traveling. If I have to travel for couple days, I can ask the security or the tea lady of my office to look after them.
Three weeks ago, I came home late. It almost 11.30 p.m. when I found their cage in balcony was half open. I was curious and I couldn’t find Hejo! it is missing. I tried to look for it down stair..
*who knows it falls!*
nothing!, it remains? Nothing!
It’s very impossible, since Hejo could not climb up its cage and open it by itself. Somebody has stolen it. I can’t angry even to the security which is it become his responsibility to secure our neighborhood. I was completely tired. I just wish it finds a nice person who love it and take care of it better than me. Kejo became depression since it lost its soul mate. Then I give it to the tea lady about two weeks ago.
I almost forgot about it until yesterday. One hour after landing, I just reached the house when my neighbor came. She told me that my turtle was “found” by his friend. I was trying to believe her since the words found sound like “take” or “steal”!
*how come her friend found something in my balcony?*
Since he found it then he claim it as his.
*how come!??
*
She said, her friend will return it to me if I agree to give him a compensation since he already look after it for weeks and his child begin to love it. I just quiet and listen to her.
He asked a motorcycle for compensation..
*@#urgh!!*
I stay quiet…
“I am angry to my friend” she continues “Then he said ok, if she wants it back then she should pays me at least Rp. 200K…”
I still silent but I don’t want to hear the rest, I just say.. “Ooh that turtle, I almost forget and it is not valuable as much as you say.”
Gosh, the turtle stealing has changed into turtle kidnapping! Crazy people! She is trying to get my emotion by saying that it’s hard to loose our pet moreover I had looked after it since it’s a baby. I become curios to her beside I remember the day after it lost, the security is saying to me that my other neighbor’s maid saw her daughter took it.
*??!!*
Forget it! Now I just want to laugh…
Huahahaha!!! Huahahaha!!!
