Bay 14..

A quiet evening in bay 14, the mechanics slow down their rhythm. The sun prepares to shine another earth side. It was somewhere in a remote area –early of May 2007. I walked alone silently. I was trying to feel the ambience of the workshop. But the evening sun shine that dropped on the column has disturbed my mind. It attracted me to take two or three pictures.

That day, I had to visit that workshop for a project. Common things I’ve done for years but still interesting for me until now. Most of it in a remote area. During the trip I always found something interesting. It is not always about the landscape or beautiful scenery –something that I really love. Just like that evening, I see a something reflected to that column, sometime I found a beauty in a part of old steel box, or sometimes in a stair- hand rail, and etc. The combination of illumination and uniqueness of a thing will produce a beautiful picture. Then I found a simple way to avoid boredom during my business travel especially if I should travel alone. This simplicity brings happiness to me.
